Tenzin's Tapestry

About 5 months before Tenzin was born, Rachel and I were shopping at one of our favorite stores in the Short North, Global Gallery. We ran across a tapestry that seemed perfect for the nursery. This was long before we had even thought about Tenzin's name. This tapestry was one of the first accessories we placed in the nursery, and it's still one of our favorites to this day.

I thought I would add to the last post by including these words:

Loving Kindness
Right from the moment of
our birth,
we are under the care
and kindness of our parents
and then later on in our life
when we are oppressed
by sickness
and become old,
we are again dependent
on the kindness of others.
Since at the beginning
and end of our lives
we are so dependent on
other's kindness,
how can it be
that in the middle
we neglect kindness
towards others?
